Dual-phase protection is a circuit protection technology for high surge environments. Both technologies combined offer us great advantages to protect each door from voltage surges. C-POE/C-TER has a two-phase protection in each output port. The technologies involved in this protection are the Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) and the Gas Discharge Tube (GDT).
  • Page 13: Gigabit Poe Injector

This protection works as follows: In the presence of a short circuit on the connected load, C-POE / C-TER turns off the port to protect itself so as not to damage the device. After a few seconds it reactivates the door, always with the protection active; If the short circuit is still present then the protection intervenes again and will continue without feeding the load until the situation normalizes, trying again every few seconds and endlessly.

  • Page 19: Snmp Interface

SNMP interface C-POE / C-TER uses an SNMP v3 protocol with the same login credentials used for the web interface. In addition, there is a user named "snmp" who has permission to access only the SNMP service. The password of this user can only be changed by SSH with the command: "Change_snmp_password".
  • Page 20: Web Interface

C-POE / C-TER can also function as a router via NAT (Network Address Translation) functionality. This means that by activating NAT and Wi-Fi, you can have access to the Internet via C-POE / C-TER on your mobile device or computer (only if an Internet connection via ethernet interface is provided).
  • Page 21: Interface Description

Interface description The web interface has an intuitive design that allows you to have a total remote management of C-POE / C-TER. It is specially designed to facilitate access from mobile devices as it has a responsive design, so that it can adapt graphically and automatically to the device with which it is displayed.
