Do you have a question about the TQX0070 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
I have an LED P5 (TQX0073) Therma room thermostat. When operating the wheel to adjust the required temperature the readings jump all over the place making it difficult to set. Please advise. The house is only three years old
Temperature readings on the ThermaQ TQX0070 thermostat may fluctuate when adjusting the temperature due to the use of Temporary Overrides, which change the set temperature until the next programmed event. Additionally, features like TPI (Time Proportional and Integral) control and Delayed Start may also cause slight fluctuations as they adjust heating patterns for energy efficiency.

Thermostat shows flame symbol which means it should ask for heat but it does not fire up and heat radiators. I have 2 zones in the house with 2 such thermostats. The other one works fine so it is not a problem with boiled. Can you suggest what I can try?
If the ThermaQ TQX0070 thermostat shows a flame symbol but the radiators are not heating, the following troubleshooting steps can be taken:
1. Check the Boiler: Ensure the boiler is powered on and functioning properly. The thermostat may be calling for heat, but the boiler might not be responding.
2. Verify Heating System: Make sure the heating system valves are open and the pressure is within the recommended range.
3. Inspect Radiators: Check if radiator valves are open and not blocked by air. Bleed the radiators if necessary to release trapped air.
4. Review Settings: Confirm the thermostat is not in “Off” or “Manual All Day” mode that may restrict operation.
5. Override Settings: Try using a temporary override to increase the temperature and see if the system responds.
6. Check for Errors: Look for any error messages or unusual behavior on the thermostat that may indicate a fault.
7. Power Cycle: Try turning the thermostat and boiler off and on to reset the system.
If the issue persists, professional servicing may be required.

We had a power cut and the touch screen and dial are now not working. Any help appreciated! I’ve had this system for 4 years and have never known how to work them. I literally turn my heating on at the boiler….. they are the most complicated thermostat I’ve ever come across.
