Conecta X Quick Start Manual

INSTALLATION

1 - Turn o your vehicle's ignition.
2 - Determine the location of your vehicle's OBD port, it is normally in the shaded area
above, alternatively check your owners manual.
3 - Connect the power plug to your BlackVue dash cam and carefully tuck the cable
behind the trim before routing down to the ODB port location.
4 - Plug the OBD connector into your vehicle's OBD port.
PLEASE NOTE: When first connecting Conecta X it will not immediately power the dash
cam, please start the engine and leave connected for between 5 - 10 minutes to allow
Conecta X to obtain an accurate voltage reading.

OPERATION

Accessory Mode

Switch to Accessory Mode if you do not require your dash cam to record while parked.
The OBD Power & Parking Cable will automatically continue to provide power to your
dash cam for 5 mins after the ignition is switched o .

Parking Mode

Switch to Parking Mode and your dash cam will continue recording while your vehicle
is parked, using car battery power. Should your vehicle's battery power drop below
12V, Parking Mode will automatically disengage to prevent the battery discharging.
NOTE: Switch to Accessory Mode if you intend to leave your vehicle parked for more than 7 days.
