    Use of the kennel door adapter will reduce risk of physical damage to heater hoses. The Darvall Cozy Warm Air Heater has a 0.2um HEPA air filter which should be replaced every 6 months or 500 hours of use. Instructions for changing the filter are on Page 17.

    Drug delivery may be increased which could result in animal injury or death. Do not allow the animal to lie on Darvall Cozy Heater Hose or allow the hose to directly contact the animal’s skin during warming, or thermal injury may occur.

    Rear view The power switch is next to the Power Cord inlet and will disconnect all power to the Darvall Cozy if in the OFF position. The fuse is located to the right of the power cord inlet. Always disconnect the power cord before opening the fuse compartment.

    Users should not repair any internal electronic components of the Darvall Cozy Heater. If a fault condition occurs, do not open the Darvall Cozy Heater as this will void the warranty and may result in injury or death. There are electrically live parts in the Darvall Cozy Heater if it is connected to a power source, even when it not switched on.

    Installation of Wheels on the Darvall Cozy Heater Tools: None Time: 5 min. Darvall’s Cozy Warm Air Heater includes a “wheel kit” = 4 x 40mm swivel wheels, with their vertical shaft installed into a wheel-mount adapter. NO TOOLS are required for assembly. Time: 5 min.

    Self-Test Sequence (STS). During the STS, ALL the indicator LED’s and the display will illuminate.  After STS the Darvall Cozy will be operating in standby mode. The default set point is 32°C and the light on that temperature selection button will illuminate.

    Select a temperature setting and turn the Darvall Cozy Heater. It should function normally “High Level Temperature” Alarm Conditions If the Darvall Cozy Heater senses that the Sensor 2 air temperature is above the 53±3°C range, the red over-temperature alarm indicator illuminates and the alarm sounds within 5 seconds. At the same time, the display flashes and shows “Over Temperature”.

    Darvall Cozy Air Filter 0.2um HEPA - Routine Maintenance The Darvall Cozy Warm Air Heater has a 0.2 um HEPA Air Filter at the intake air inlet, located on the underside of the housing. Replace the 0.2 um HEPA Air Filter every 500 hours or every 6 months or of use in normal Veterinary Hospital environments.

    MUST BE disconnected (old hose) and re-connected (new hose). If Temperature Sensor 2 is not connected, the Darvall Cozy Heater WON’T RUN! 8. Disconnect Temperature Sensor cable plug inside the Elbow Outlet. Note the plug is indexed so only fits 1 way.
