STRAP ATTACHMENT
PREPARATIONS BEFORE
TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS
For optimum performance you should
familiarize
yourself
with
certain
fundamentals
before
taking - any
photographs.
Attach
the
strap
to
the
camera
(see
illustration)
by passing the shorter end
through the top of the strap lug. If the
longer end of the strap is passed through
the strap lug from the top, the distance of
0.45 m (1.5 ft) cannot be measured in the
Super Macro Mode: when the shorter end of
the strap reaches the top of the lug, the
strap is in proper position. Use the tab on
the clamp (see illustration) to depress the
ADJUST button and to open the battery
chamber cover.
• To prevent the camera from swaying a lot while
walking, adjust the strap so the camera rides above
your waist.
