@ VCR3 VIDEO INPUT jack
'Connect to the video output jack of @ VCR used for simulcast
recording
@ VCR3 AUDIO INPUT terminals
Conneet to the audio input terminals of a VCR used for
simulcast recording,
NOTE:
When connecting a sterea video component, be sure fo connect
the left and right channels correctly. When connecting

mansural video component, abways connect 10 the "L" (MONO!
side.
@® MONO/STEREO selector switch
Sat in acedrtiance with the type of VCR connected to the
VCR 3 jacks.
MONDO:
— Wien 2 monaural VCR is connected (connect
the audio pin-plug to the L channel only}.
STEREO
When a stereo VCR is connected.
@ TV SET VHF OUTPUT jack
Connect to the VHF input jack of a TV s e t in order to watch
the playback from VCR, VOP or TV broadcast.
@ MONITOR TV VIDEO OUTPUT jack
Connect to the video input jack of @ monitor television.
@ SPEAKERS terminals

B: Connect to # second set of speakers.

Power supplied through these outlets is turned on and off by
the
iver's POWER switch. Total electrical power con
sumption of connected equipment should not exceed 100
Ww.
(UNSWITCHED}
Power flows continually to this outlet, regardiess of whether
the receiver's POWER switch is ON of OFF. Electrical power
consumption of the connected equipment should not exceed
200 W.
'The equipment should be disconnected by removing the
mains plug from the wail socket when not in regular use, €.g.
when on vacation
NOTE:
'Do not connect appliances with high power consumption, such as
heaters, irons, oF television sets, to the AC OUTLETS, ia order to
'avoid overheating or fie risk.
This can couse the receiver to. malfunction,
@ SPEAKER IMPEDANCE switch
This swith is for adjusting the'smolifier accarding to the
impedance rating of the speaker system being connected.
The switch is adjusted according to speaker impedance 45
shown below.

Preparing and connecting the speaker cords
1. Cut off the covering of the speaker cords ss shown in the
figure.
2, Twist the strands with your thismb and forefinger, other-
'wise some of the strands may come into contact with other
terminals and cords, causing aishort circuit,
3. Push up the minus lever of the speaker terminals
with your
finger and insert the minus speaker lead into the hole.
4. The lead is locked into position when the fever is pushed
down. Check that the lead is connected firmly.

terminal.
Check that the wires of the speaker cords exe not project:
ing from the terminals. If they should project and come into
ccoctact with ech other, a shor circuit will be coused.

bonnet case by remo"

1, Remove 2 antenna terminal screws @ on the rear
panel side, an AM STEREO OUT screw @ and a
huner assembly screw @ .
2. Remove the tuner assembly by pulling it up as tilting
the volume assembly to the front panel side,

WRemoval of volume assembly
1. Remove the tuner assembly.
2, Remove the nylon rivet of volume assembly and pull
up the volume assembly.
@ Removal of RF switch assembly and VIDEO . .
switch assembly
1. Remove the heat sink by loosing 4 seciiring screws @ .
2. Remove the heat sink holder B by removing 2 screws
@ on the rear panel side of it
3. Remove the VIDEO switch assembly by removing 4
screws. @ on the rear pane! side.of it,
4, Remove the RF switch assembly by removing 4 nuts
and 4 washers on the rear panel side of it
