The Core Innovations CLT2156 supports Wi-Fi® 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n, which has lower maximum speeds compared to modern Wi-Fi standards. The 2.4GHz 802.11n standard typically provides speeds up to 150 Mbps under ideal conditions, but actual speeds can be much lower due to interference, signal quality, or distance from the router. This is likely why the device only provides 40 MB speed instead of 1000 MB. Additionally, the device does not list support for Ethernet or faster Wi-Fi standards like 802.11ac or 802.11ax, which are required to achieve gigabit speeds.
