Each press of the CENTER MODE key switches the center modes as
follows:
@NORMAL
=: When the center speaker is a compact-sized
speaker.
@WIDERANT
: When the center speaker is a medium- or large-
sized speaker.
@ PHANTOM
:When the center speaker is not used.
e If you cannot tell whether your center speaker is compact or me-
dium-sized, try two modes and select according to your liking.
e@ The selected center mode is automatically stored in memory and
held unless it is changed later.

@ The test tone which is heard like noise moves between speakers at
an interval of 1.5 sec.

key is pressed, the corresponding volume level to the key is
displayed on the dispiay. While the level is displayed, it can be ad-
justed by 1 dB per press of the key.
@ The volume levels can be adjusted in the range from -10 dB to +10
dB.
e The center and rear levels are stored in mernory as the common
settings with the DOLBY 3 STEREO mode.
