Changing the Battery
a. Slide Battery Cover (#6) to the un-lock position.
b. Slightly lift cover (at latch end) and then slide the battery
cover back to expose and remove the battery.
c. Insert new battery with face-down to align with contact
pins.
d. Replace battery cover and put the battery cover lock into
the locked position.
PARING THE GLOBALSAT BLUETOOTH GPS RECEIVER
1. Turn on the Bluetooth GPS puck.
2. Go to the Options/Settings screen on the
BlackBerry and select Bluetooth.
3. If Bluetooth is disabled, select Enable Bluetooth
from the menu. If Bluetooth is enabled go to step 4.
4. Select Add Device from the menu. If the GPS is
already listed go to step 7.
5. The BlackBerry will search for all Bluetooth
devices within range. Pick the GPS from the list
of devices found.
6. Enter the passkey for the GPS. The default is 0000.
7. The GPS device should now be listed. Select
Close from the menu.
8. The Bluetooth GPS puck is now available for
use by any application. Specific applications
may require the user to enable the GPS within
the application as well.
