INSTALLATION

How to mount the Bunk Ladder to your permanently-
bunk bedrail.
MAY CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH
The Bunk Ladder is not intended to be a permanent
fixture. The Bunk Ladder should only be applied when
the vehicle is parked on level ground. Remove and
safely store the Bunk Ladder before starting or moving
the vehicle.
1. Make sure your ladder is in the correct orientation
prior to installing. Standing in front of the ladder with the
rubber feet of the bunk ladder setting on the floor, the
lowest portion of the ladder should be vertical and the
center section of the ladder should angle away from you.
This is the install orientation.
CAUTION
WARNING
2. The mounting brackets are rotated for shipping
purposes.
You may need to rotate the mounting
brackets prior to installing. Holding the ladder in the
install orientation, turn the mounting brackets on top of
the ladder until they are facing straight away from you.
Retighten the attachment screws to secure the mounting
brackets in the install orientation, as they may have
loosened during this exercise.
3. Your bunk ladder is designed with an optimal center
angle of 9° and must be installed so that the ladder
center angle is no more than 11° from vertical. Your
bunk ladder mounting height will be determined by
choosing a bunk rail that allows the ladder to satisfy
these angle requirements. With the legs resting on the
floor, the range of horizontal distance from the bunk rail
to the ladder feet should be as listed in the following
diagram:
