WARRANTY: Should your LG Refrigerator ("Product") fail due to a defect in material or workmanship under normal home use during the
warranty period set forth below, LG Canada will at its option repair or replace the Product upon receipt of proof of original retail purchase.
This warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the product and applies only to a Product distributed in Canada by LG Canada or

2. Failureof the product t o performduringpowerfailuresand interruptions or
inadequate electrical s ervice.
3. Damagecausedbyleakyor brokenwaterpipes,frozenwaterpipes,restricted
drainlines,inadequateor interrupted watersupplyor inadequate supplyof air.
4. Damageresultingfromoperatingthe Product i na corrosiveatmosphereor
contrary to the instructions outlinedinthe Product o wner'smanual.
5. Damageto the Product c ausedby accidents, p estsandvermin,lightning, w ind,
fire,floods,or acts of God.
6. Damageresultingfromthe misuse,abuse,improperinstallation, r epair,or
maintenance of the Product. Improper r epairincludesuseof partsnot approved
or specifiedby LGCanada.
7. Damageor product f ailurecausedby unauthorized modification or alteration, o r
useforotherthan its intended purpose,or resulting from anywaterleakagedue
to improperinstallation.
8. Damageor Product f ailurecausedby incorrect e lectrical c urrent,voltage,or
plumbingcodes,commercial o r industrial u se,or useof accessories,
components, o r cleaningproducts thatare not approvedbyLG Canada.
9. Damagecausedby transportation andhandling, i ncludingscratches, d ents,
chips,and/orotherdamageto the finishof yourproduct,unlesssuchdamage
resultsfrom defectsin materials or workmanship and is reported withinone (1)
weekof delivery.
10.Damageor missingitemsto anydisplay,openbox,discounted, o r refurbished
Product.
11.Productswithoriginal s erial numbers that havebeenremoved,altered,or cannot
be readilydetermined.ModelandSerialnumbers, a longwithoriginalretailsales
receipt,are requiredfor warranty validation.
12.increasesinutilitycostsandadditional u tilityexpenses.
13.Replacement of lightbulbs,filters,or any consumable parts.
14.Repairswhen yourProductis usedinotherthan normalandusualhousehold
use(including, w ithoutlimitation, c ommercial u se, inofficesor recreational
facilities) o r contrarytothe instructions outlinedinthe Product o wner'smanual.
15.Costsassociated withremovalofthe Product f romyour homeforrepairs.
16.Theremovalandreinstallation o f the Product i f it is installedinan inaccessible
locationor is not installedinaccordance withpublishedinstallation instructions,
includingthe Product o wner'sandinstallation manuals.
17.Shelves, d oor bins,drawers,handles,andaccessories to the Product.Also
excluded are partsbesidesthosethatwereoriginallyincludedwiththe Product.
All costs associated with the above excluded circumstances shall be borne by the consumer.
