    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS Placement • DO place the appliance on a countertop only. Always operate the appliance on a stable, non-combustible, level surface. • DO make sure all parts are dry and free of food debris before placing the cooking pot on the cooker base.

  • Page 10 Delay the start of cooking You can set a Delay Start timer for a minimum of 10 minutes or a maximum of 24 hours. Select a Smart Programme, then press Delay Start. When the timer flashes, press + or - to set the minutes (in 10 minute increments) and press Start to select.

    INITIAL SETUP Unpack Remove your new Rice and Grain Cooker from the box. Remove all the packaging material from in and around the cooker. Make sure to remove all the accessories from inside the cooker. Do Not remove the safety warning stickers or the rating label from the cooker.

    USING THE LID How to close the lid Push the lid down lightly until you feel it snap into place. If you push too hard or too fast the lid will bounce back open. How to open the lid When cooking is finished, push the button on top of the lid to open. Do Not open the lid during cooking as hot steam can burn.
