iX02 Scale Reduction Filter Quick Installation Guide
The following guide has been produced to support installing the iX02 Scale Reduction Filter

Positioning

The filter should be positioned:
•
in an accessible location for future access
•
away from any strong smells
•
away from any heat sources
•
in an upright orientation where possible

Installation

•
Remove the iX02 filter from the box and position.
•
Remove the iX02 head from the box and attach to the top of the filter.
•
Connect the relevant fittings to both the inlet and outlet.
•
Flush a minimum of 10ltrs through the filter or until it runs clear.
•
Following the instructions shown on the water testing strips, test the water to
determine the water hardness (see chart on next page)
•
Remove the lid from the head and set the bypass based on the water hardness.
•
Place lid back onto head.

Important

•
Always test the water from the incoming supply (before filter)
•
If you are unable to test the water set to 3
•
If you are unsure of the reading set to 3
Never set the bypass to 0
The filter will simply become exhausted sooner and potentially cause taste issues
