- Page 2 The VAHLE POWERCOM 485 device is a modem for secure data transmission via conductor rails. It can communicate with all PROFIBUS compatible products. It accepts the various protocol variants of the PROFIBUS, and multiple VAHLE ® POWERCOM 485 units can be connected via the conductor rails.
