Using this LD thermometer you can promptly, accurately and safely measure your body temperature.
The thermometer is intended for measuring body temperature ONLY by using the methods specifi ed in this Instruction manual.

SAFETY MEASURES

1. For a waterproof part of the LD-300 thermometer, see Figure (2). Prevent ingress of water in other parts of the device. LD-301 and LD-302
thermometers have a waterproof body that may be submerged in water down to the depth of 16 cm for max 30 minutes.
2. This thermometer is designed to measure underarm, oral or rectal temperatures.
3. Keep children away of small parts. These parts may be hazardous to health. Use them under control only!

MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE, MEMORY

1. Press a button (4) to switch on the device.
2. On pressing the button all segments will be indicated on a display (3), as
demonstrated in the fi gure on the right. Now a thermometer is in active status.
3. Release the button. The last temperature reading will be displayed. Then symbols "L °C" will be displayed with fl ashing symbol "°C".
4. Take the thermometer under the arm by placing the tip into the hollow of the armpit (or in other place – see Section "Temperature measurement
methods".
5. If body temperature exceeds 32.0 °C, a temperature value will be displayed in place of symbols "L °C" with a marker "°C" fl ashing for all a
measurement period.
6. If temperature values are not changed for 16 seconds, the marker "°C" will stop fl ashing and a beep signal will sound. Time of measurement
depends on a selected measurement method (see Section "Temperature measurement methods").
If the procedure meets the requirements specifi ed in Section "Temperature measurement methods", a beep signal will indicate to completion
of measurement. If you doubt the accuracy of measurement, extend measurement time by 2-3 min after a beep signal sounds. If the measured
temperature is below 32 °C, symbols "L °C" will be steadily displayed. If the measured temperature is above 32 °C, symbols "H °C" will be displayed.
7. Temperature readings will be displayed till the thermometer is switched off .
8. Press the button (4) to switch off the thermometer.
9. If you forget to turn off the thermometer, it will turn off automatically in about 10 minutes.

TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT METHODS

ORAL MEASUREMENT

Insert the thermometer probe into a hygienic packet (option). Before taking temperature keep the mouth closed for 5 minutes. Then place the probe
under the tongue with the tip rested in. Close the mouth. Oral temperature shall be taken for 1 minute.

RECTAL MEASUREMENT

Gently slide the thermometer tip into the rectum. Make sure that the tip is inserted into the rectum by no more than 2.5 cm. Rectal temperature shall
be taken for 1 minute.

ARMPIT MEASUREMENT

Before taking temperature readings wipe the hollow of the armpit by a dry towel and keep the arm in down position for 5 minutes. Place the tip well
into the underarm while pressing the arm tight. Underarm temperature shall be taken for 3-4 minutes.
NOTE! Rectal temperature should be 1 degree higher than the oral one and underarm temperature – 1 degree less than the oral one. For any
questions consult your physician.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

If a battery is discharged (less than 1.4V), the symbol « », will be displayed thereby indicating for the need of battery replacement.
1. Open the battery compartment (5) sliding the cover opposite to the thermometer probe.
2. Remove a discharged battery. Do not use any sharp metal objects.
3. Insert a new battery making sure that the positive (+) pole is facing up and the negative (-) pole - down.

ŚRODKI OSTROŻNOŚCI
1. Wodoodporna część termometru LD-300 została oznaczona na rys.2, pozostałe części termometru należy chronić od kontaktu z wodą. Wodoodporny
występuje w przypadku termometrów LD-301 i LD-302 - dopuszcza się zanurzenie urządzenia w wodzie na głębokość nie większą niż 16 cm i nie
dłużej niż na 30 min.
2. Termometr przeznaczony do pomiaru temperatury pod pachą, w jamie ustnej lub w odbycie.
3. Termometr chronić przed dziećmi, gdyż może być niebezpieczny dla ich zdrowia. Używać tylko pod nadzorem dorosłych!
POMIAR TEMPERATURY I PAMIĘĆ TERMOMETRU
1. Włącz termometr naciskając przycisk (4).
2. Po naciśnięciu przycisku na wyświetlaczu (3) wyświetlą się wszystkie segmenty, tak jak
jest to pokazane na rysunku z prawej – oznacza to, że termometr jest gotowy do pracy.
3. Na wyświetlaczu pojawi się wynik ostatniego pomiaru. Po czym wyświetlą się symbole "L °C", przy czym symbol „°C" powinien migać.
4. Umieść czujnik termometru (1) pod pachą (lub w innym miejscu, tak jak jest to opisane w rozdziale: „Sposoby pomiaru temperatury").
5. Jeśli temperatura ciała wynosi powyżej 32.0°C, na wyświetlaczu w miejscu "L °C" pojawi się wysokość temperatury i symbol "°C" będzie migać
podczas pomiaru.
6. Jeśli temperatura w ciągu 16 sekund nie ulegnie zmianie, symbol "°C" przestanie migać, a termometr zasygnalizuje koniec pomiaru. Czas pomiaru
zależy od wybranego sposobu pomiary (patrz: rozdział „Sposoby pomiaru temperatury").
Przy ścisłym przestrzeganiu czynności opisanych w rozdziale "Sposoby pomiaru temperatury" sygnał dźwiękowy zasygnalizuje zakończenie
pomiaru. W przypadku wątpliwości dotyczących wyniku pomiaru dla większej dokładności pomiaru należy zwiększyć czas pomiaru do 2-3 minut
po sygnale dźwiękowym. Jeśli wynik pomiaru jest niższy niż 32°С, to na ekranie będą wyświetlać się symbole "L °C". Jeśli wynik pomiaru jest
wyższy niż 42°С, to na ekranie będą wyświetlać się symbole "H °C".
7. Wynik pomiaru będzie wyświetlał się do momentu wyłączenia termometru.
8. Wyłącz termometr naciskając przycisk.

9. Jeśli termometr nie zostanie wyłączony przyciskiem, to wyłączy się on automatycznie po upływie około 10 minut.
METODY POMIARU TEMPERATURY:
POMIAR TEMPERATURY W USTACH
Przed pomiarem temperatury należy trzymać usta zamknięte przez 5 minut. Umieść czujnik pod językiem, dociśnij go i zamknij usta. Czas pomiaru
temperatury w ten sposób powinien wynosić około 1 minuty.
POMIAR TEMPERATURY W ODBYCIE
Delikatnie umieść czubek termometru w odbycie. Nie należy umieszczać go głębiej niż 2,5 cm.
Czas pomiaru temperatury w ten sposób powinien wynosić około 1 minuty.
POMIAR TEMPERATURY POD PACHĄ
Przed pomiarem należy dokładnie wytrzeć pachwinę suchym ręcznikiem i opuścić rękę na około 5 minut. Umieść czujnik termometru pod pachą i
dociśnij go do ciała ręką. Czas pomiaru temperatury w ten sposób powinien wynosić około 3-4 minut.
UWAGA! Temperatura mierzona w odbycie może być wyższa o 1 stopień niż w jamie ustnej, natomiast mierzona pod pachą niższa o 1 stopień niż w
jamie ustnej.
WYMIANA BATERII
Jeśli moc baterii jest za niska (tj. poniżej 1,4V) do poprawnego działania termometru to na wyświetlaczu pojawi się symbol « », sygnalizujący o
konieczności wymiany baterii.
1. Otwórz pokrywę baterii (5), pociągając ją w kierunku przeciwnym do położenia czujnika.
2. Usuń starą baterię. Nie używaj w tym celu ostrych przedmiotów.
3. Włóż nową baterię, upewnij się, ze została ona umieszczona poprawnie tzn. „plus" powinien być skierowany ku górze, „minus" do dołu.

PRECAUŢII
1. Partea termometrului model LD-300 etanșă la apă este indicată pe desenul (2). Evitaţi pătrunderea apei pe alte părţi ale aparatului. Corpul
termometrului model LD-301 și LD-302 poate fi scufundat în apă la adîncimea de nu mai mult de 16 cm și nu mai îndelungat de 30 min.
2. Termometrul este predestinat pentru măsurarea temperaturii în funcţie de metodă axilară (sub braţ), orală sau rectală.
3. Detaliile mici nu trebuie lăsate la îndemîna copiilor. Acestea sunt periculoase pentru sănătatea lor. Se folosește doar sub supravegherea maturilor!
EFECTUAREA MĂSURĂRILOR, MEMORIE
1. Porniţi alimentarea, apăsînd butonul (4).
2. După ce veţi apăsa butonul pe ecran (3) vor aparea toate segmentele, cum este arătat
pe imaginea din dreapta, ceea ce înseamnă că termometrul este în starea funcţională.
3. Lăsaţi butonul. Pe ecran se va afi șa rezultatul ultimei măsurători. Apoi se vor afi șa simboluri "L °C", și simbolul "°C" se va aprinde intermitent.
4. Plasaţi senzorul termometrului (1) sub axila (sau în orice alt loc, notat în secţiunea "Metode de măsurare a temperaturii").
5. Dacă temperatura corpului este mai mare de 32.0°С, pe ecran în loc de "L °C" va apărea valoarea temperaturii și simbolul "°C" se va aprinde
intermitent pe parcursul măsurătorii.
6. Cînd valoarea temperaturii nu se schimbă timp de 16 secunde, simbolul "°С" nu va mai fi intermitent și veţi aude semnalul sonor. Durata
măsurătorii depinde de modul de măsurare ales (vezi secţiunea "Metode de măsurare a temperaturii"). Dacă cerinţele din secţiunea "Metode
de măsurare a temperaturii" au fost respectate, semnalul sonor va avertiza terminarea măsurătorii. În caz dacă aveţi dubii referitor la rezultate,
timpul măsurării trebuie prelungit cu 2-3 minute după semnalul sonor. Dacă temperatura măsurată este mai mica de 32 °С, pe ecran se va aprinde
constant "L °C". Dacă valoarea temperaturii va fi mai mare de 42 °С, pe ecran va apărea simbolul "H °С".
7. Rezultatele măsurătorii se vor afi șa pe ecran pînă la închiderea termometrului.
8. Opriţi termometrul apăsînd butonul .
9. Dacă termometrul nu va fi oprit, el se va deconecta automat după aproximativ 10 minute.
METODE DE MĂSURARE A TEMPERATURII
METODA ORALĂ
Plasaţi senzorul într-un pacheţel igienic (se procură aparte). Înainte de măsurarea temperaturii ţineţi gura închisă timp de 5 minute. Plasaţi senzorul
sub limbă și sustineţi-l. Închideţi gura. Timpul de măsurare aproximativ este 1 minută.
METODA RECTALĂ
Introduceţi cu grijă vîrful termometrului în rect. Nu trebuie să-l introduceţi mai adînc de 2,5 cm. Timpul de măsurare aproximativ este 1 minută.
METODA AXILARĂ (SUB BRAŢ)
Înainte de măsurarea ștergeţi axila cu un prosop uscat și lăsaţi mîna în jos pe aproximativ 5 minute. Plasaţi senzorul în axila, strîngîns mîna tare.
Timpul de măsurare este 3-4 minute.
ATENŢIE! Temperatura rectală poate fi cu 1°C mai înaltă faţă de cea orală, iar axilară – 1°C mai scăzută faţă de cea orală. Toate întrebările trebuie să le
adresaţi farmacistului.
SCHIMBAREA BATERIEI
Dacă tensiunea bateriei va deveni insufucientă pentru a folosi termometrul (mai puţin de 1.4 V), pe ecran va apărea simbolul « », care indică că
bateria trebuie să fi e schimbată.
1. Deschideţi compartimentul bateriei (5), tragînd capacul în partea opusă de indicator.
2. Scoateţi bateria veche. Nu folosiţi pentru aceasta obiecte ascuţite din metal.
3. Introduceţi bateria nouă, verifi cînd corectitudinea polurilor: «plusul» trebuie să fi e de sus, iar «minusul» - de jos.
