Page 8 SMART S-MS MED P. 8/36 2. Certificazioni I rivelatori di gas serie SMART S-MS MED soddisfano i requisiti essenziali di sicurezza e salute in accordo alla Direttiva ATEX 2014/34/UE. Sono strumenti costruiti per impiego in atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive per la presenza di gas, vapori, nebbie e polveri esplosive, classificate come zona 1 o zona 2 (o zona 21 o 22 quando impiegato il dispositivo di protezione contro le polveri) secondo la classificazione delle norme EN 60079-10-1 e EN 60079-10-2.

Predisposizione del IDONEITÀ DEI RIVELATORI IN RELAZIONE AL LUOGO DI INSTALLAZIONE Nel caso di utilizzo in aree con pericolo di esplosione si deve verificare che il sito di installazione rivelatore sia idoneo alla classificazione della zona ed alle caratteristiche delle sostanze infiammabili presenti sull’impianto.

Manutenzione Le verifiche e la manutenzione dei rivelatori in versione antideflagrante devono essere effettuate da personale esperto secondo i criteri della norma EN 60079- MANUTENZIONE PREVENTIVA Nei paesi della Comunità Europea, le prove di funzionamento in gas e le procedure di taratura dei rivelatori di gas sono richieste dalle normative in vigore e definiti dalla EN 60079-29-2.

Warning It’s strictly forbidden open and close the equipment when it’s installed in hazardous area and it’s powered-on.

Relay 1 is associated to Fault and Watch-dog. The remaining two are to be associated to two outputs of the three pre-set alarm thresholds.
