HEIDENHAIN EXE 808B Replacing Instructions page 3

Please observe the steps below:
1. Remove the power cord.
2. Label the encoder cables (Y - X).

3. Disconnect the encoder cables from
EXE 808 B.
4. Remove the output cable (Harting).
5. If a second TTL output is required, an external
mounting housing (Harting, ID 284477-01)
must be mounted to EXE 924.
6. Reconnect the encoder cables to EXE 924:
Y to X3; X to X1.

7. Reconnect the output cable.
8. Settings of the DIP switches:
Close the switches S1 and S11;
open the switches S5 and S15.
