Shooting in Smile Shutter mode
When tile camera detects a smile, the shutter is released automatically.
_) Select @ (Smile Shutter) mode from the mode dial.
0 Press the shutter button halfway down to adjust the focus while aiming the
camera at the subject to be shoot.
Press the shutter button all the way down.
The Smile Shutter enters standby.

This indicates the current smile level.
Each time the smile level reaches the set Smile Detection
Sensitivity (indicated by "_1),

to exit the Smile Shutter
mode.

• You can select the sut!iect that has priority lor smile detection with [Sndle [)election] (page 24).
• If a smile is not detected. _t tile [Smile Detection Sensdivity] (page 24).
• You can have the camera shoot the image automatically when any person displayed in the snfile detection
frame (Orange) smiles after pressing the shutter button all tile way down.
• The inlage may not be in locus if the distance between the camera and the subject is changed alter pressing
the shutter button all the way down, The suitable exposure nmy not be obtained if the surrounding
brighmess changes.
• Faces may not be detected correctly when:
It is too clark or too brighL
Faces arc partially hidden by sunglasses, masks, bats, etc.
The subjects alv not fi_cing the camera.
• Smiles may not be detected correctly depending on the conditions.
• You cannot use the Digital Zoom tunction.
• You cannot change the zoom ratio when the Smile Shutter is in standby,
