12. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug the appliance and allow it
to cool down.
13. This appliance can be used by opening the lid at 180 degrees to increase
the cooking surface, the panini would be used as an electric grill. To use
this appliance as an electric grill, hold the handle, press the lid release
lock and extend the cooking plate over the table.
14. When cooking meats, burgers, or foods that contain fat, place the oil
collection tray under the oil outlet located to the left of the lower plate.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Proper maintenance will ensure years of use of your appliance. This
appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires little
maintenance. Clean the appliance after every use following these steps.
WARNING: The surfaces of the item will get very hot during use, unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a damp
cloth or sponge. Dry it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive or metallic
materials.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquid, or place directly
underneath the water faucet.
• To remove food residues from the cooking surface, pour a small amount
of cooking oil on to the hardened residue. After 5 minutes, carefully
wipe with a paper towel or dry cloth.
• Wash the oil tray with warm and soap water, rinse and dry.
