Fire safety When cutting or engraving materials, the equipment uses a high density laser beam to illuminate the material, so that the surface of the material produces high temperature, the purpose is to vapor- ize the material without burning it. But most materials are inherently flammable and can ignite and form an open flame, which can burn down the device (even if the fuselage is made of flame-retar- dant material) and its surroundings.
