* Remove any obstacles in the path of the remote commander
and the player.
* Make sure the remote sensor is not exposed to strong light such
as direct sunlight or fluorescent lamp light.
* Move closer to the deck when using the remote commander.
° Make sure the batteries for the clock/timer/memory are installed,

After trying the above remedies, if the player still does not function
properly, unplug the AC power cord and remove the batteries for
the clocktimer/memory. After all the indications in the display
window disappear, insert the batteries for the clock/timer/mamory
again. The player should then function properly.
