ADJUSTMENTS
Note: The
adjustment
should
be performed
in the order
given in this service manual.
The adjustments should be performed for both L-CH
and RCH.
® Simultaneous REC/PB Mode:
Input the signals to LINE IN terminal and set to
REC
mode.
Set the monitor
switch
to TAPE,
and monitor the recorded signal from LINE OUT
terminal.

Standard Record:
Deliver the standard input signal level to the input
jack and set the REC LEVEL control to obtain the
standard output signal level.

Torque Adjustment
and Measurement
1.
Load a torque meter cassette CQ-102C
and push
pe button.
2.
Adjust RV801
so that the reading on the torque
meter is 40+3g+¢cm
(0.56 + 0.04202 « inch).
3.
After
the
adjustment,
apply
suitable
locking
compound
to RV803.
