WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
Heat water only with the lid closed, otherwise the automatic
switch-off cannot function . Boiling water could then spray out
over the rim .
Hot steam clouds may be released . The kettle also becomes
very hot during use . It is always best to wear oven mitts
when handling the kettle .
Ensure that the appliance is stood stably and vertically
before switching it on . Boiling water can cause an unstable
kettle to fall over .
Do not open the lid while the water is boiling .
This appliance may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and/or knowledge if they are supervised or, in regard to the
safe use of the appliance, have been instructed in its use

some residual heat .
