INSTRUMENTS AND
CONTROLS
BRAKE PEDALS
The brake pedals are used to aid in turn ing the
tractor. Depress the right brake pedal to slow or
stop the right rear tractor wheel,
depress
the left
brake pedal to slow or stop the left rear tractor
wheel. The
tractor
will turn in the direction of the
wheel that is slowed or stopped.

The
bra
ke pedal
latch is
located in
the
to
p edge of
the left brake
pedal
and
is used
to latch
th
e
two
pedals together to provi
de
simu Itaneous
brak
ing
to
both
rear
wheels when
t he
brake
pedals are
d
e-
pressed.
To latch the pedals together, pivot
t he
latch a
nd engage it in the slot in the right peda
l.
For
individual brake action, pivot the
latch
into
the storage
slot
in the left brake pedal.

PAR K BRAKE LEVER
The park brake must
be
o
n to prevent movement
of the tractor du
rin
g
stat
ionary power take-off
work or when the tracto
r
is parked. The park
brake is on when the lever is pulled
up.
Depress the
butto
n
o
n

e end
of
the lever and
move the
lever down
to release
the
park
brake.
NOT
E:
The tra
nsm
ission and
park
brake
lock may
be damaged
if t
he
tracto
r is
moved wi
th t
he
park
brake on.
Do
not
put t he park brake o
n
with
the
tractor in
motion
.
CLUTCH PEDAL
The cl
utch
must
be
released when stopping the
tractor, turn ing on the
powe
r
take-off,
o
pe
rati
ng
t
he
gearshift lever, o
r
operat ing t
he
t
ransm
ission
ran
ge
lever.
To release the
clutc
h,
press the
pedal
all
t
he way down. Let the clutch
peda
l
