- Page 3 Build-out Kit Assembly Shell Assembly Lay the face panels (b) face down on a soft/non-abrasive surface to ensure they do not scratch. Using the provided self-tapping screws, attach the face panels together. Screw hole locations are pre-drilled in each panel to ensure proper alignment. Standing the face panels upright, connect both vertical supports (c) to the face panels through the appropriate slots.
- Page 4 Shell Assembly continued... In the top corner of each side, fasten the vertical supports in place with the provided self- tapping screws. Attach the rear mounting bracket (e) to the top of the vertical supports. Insert the cleats through the corresponding slots, and secure in place with the provided self-tapping screws.
- Page 5 Shell Assembly continued... Attach the three horizontal supports to the corresponding slots and cleats on the vertical supports behind the face panels. Two bars attach to the front of the vertical supports above and below the opening, and one to the back of the vertical supports below the opening.
- Page 6 Firebox Installation Following the manufacturers installation instructions for your specific firebox, install the firebox into the build-out kit.
- Page 7 Mounting If desired, attach the build-out kit to the wall or structure behind it by a securing it through the rear mounting bracket with the appropriate fasteners (not included). Shelf Assembly Attach the top cap/shelf (f) to the build-out kit by aligning the cutouts on the back of the shelf with the vertical supports, and sliding it down into place.
- Page 8 Operation & Maintenance • Your Build-out Kit can be cleaned using a damp cloth and soap or mild household cleaner, or rubbing alcohol for tougher stains. To avoid damage to the finish, abrasive cleaning products and cleaners containing ammonia or other harsh chemicals should be avoided.
