Battery charger
Read the operating instructions carefully before use!
Save them for future reference!
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• during the charging process, explosive gases may be produced.
Do not use open fire and ensure appropriate ventilation during
the charging process.
• never attempt to charge a frozen battery.
• never charge the battery when the engine is running.
• do not use the appliance in damp or wet areas. Do not expose
the appliance to rain.
• when not in use, store the appliance in a dry place out of the
reach of children.
• keep children and onlookers at a safe distance when the
appliance is in use. Keep children under supervision to make
sure they do not play with the appliance.
• check the appliance to see if any parts are damaged. Do not
use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if
the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the appliance to an
authorized service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
• do not attempt to charge dry cell batteries with the appliance,
they can explode and cause fatal or personal injury, and/or
material damage.
• the appliance is only intended for charging/auxiliary starting of
12 V batteries.
• it is not intended to be used to supply power to low voltage
systems.
• do not attempt to open the battery charger – risk of electric
shock.
• switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord when it is
not in use.
• the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage caused by
the failure to use the battery charger in accordance with this
manual.
FIRST AID:
Eyes: If you get battery fluid in your eyes, rinse with water for at least
15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
Skin: If you get battery acid on your skin, rinse immediately in plenty
of fresh water and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek
medical attention if redness, pain or irritation persists.

USE:
• before the use of the charger is started, it is absolutely essential
to check its technical condition. Check the condition of the
connecting cables and the plug - if their damage is observed,
P/N: 02085, 02086, 02089
replace the damaged element. Check the condition of the
housing - if it is damaged, the housing must be subjected to
detailed inspection carried out by an authorized professional.
• check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage
on the type plate. If you are using an extension cord, the cross-
sectional area of the wires must have the correct rating for the
power supply to the appliance.
• before starting the battery charging, it is absolutely essential to
disconnect the battery from the installation in which the battery
is used. Use the guidelines for the battery charging, included in
the manual for the car or other equipment.
• slacken or remove the plugs from the respective battery sections
(if they are present), check the acid level in the battery and if
necessary, fill it up with decriminalized water.
• connect the charger red clamp to the end of positive pole of the
battery „+", and the black clamp to the negative pole „-". Place the
charger at the maximum distance from the battery, then connect
the charger to the power source, using the power cord. Charging
is started after connecting the power cord to the power source
and switching the power switch to the „ON" position.
• after the battery charging process is started, check the charging
current indications from time to time on the ammeter mounted
on the charger. When the ammeter signals that the battery is fully
charged (minimum charging current indication - the ammeter
indicator on the left, on the battery symbol, in black colour).
• disconnect the battery charger from the power source, remove
the cables connected to the battery and tighten the plugs for the
electrolyte level control on the battery.
• the battery is ready for use.
• avoid incomplete charging of the battery as this shortens its life.
