Installation of the pellet stove Before starting the installation, perform the following actions: • Upon delivery, please check the product for completeness and to determine the existence of any signs of damage. Any damages or defects should be accounted for before the unit is installed.

    4.1. Installation requirements The minimum distances from the pellet stove to particularly flammable surfaces are shown in Figure 4. At the top of the stove, it is necessary to keep a minimum distance of 100 cm from the ceiling of the room, especially if they contain flammable material in their composition.   • Page 11 Non-compliance with these requirements jeopardises the correct functioning of the stove and the consequent loss of the warranty. Follow the instructions in the diagrams. The stoves operate with the combustion chamber in a depressive state, so it is absolutely necessary to have a smoke evacuation duct that extracts the combustion gases properly.

    The installation of the unit on locations near kitchen exhaust fans or fume extractors may prevent the unit from operating properly. It is recommended that the unit is disconnected when these extractors are working. 4.4. Installation with chimney As shown in figure 7, the installation of the pellet stove brings the exhaust pipe (with Ø80 mm) directly to the chimney.

    5. Fuel The only fuel that should be used for the operation of the stove is. No other fuel may be used. Use only pellets certified to EN 14961-2 grade A1 with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of between 10 and 30 mm. The maximum permissible humidity for pellets is 8% of their weight.

    7.3.5. Cleaning This feature allows you to clean the burning basket manually. To enable cleaning with the unit in OFF mode, press and hold Button no. 2 for 10 seconds to access the Menu. Use this button to scroll the menu until the “limp” option is displayed. Then press On/Off to access the parameter you wish to change.

During the lighting phase, the display will show the message “ENC” until this phase is completed.     14. Maintenance 14.1. Daily maintenance The pellet stove requires careful maintenance (see the maintenance label in item 15). The main care to be taken is the regular cleaning of the ashes in the pellet burning area. This can be done in a practical way with the aid of a simple ash vacuum cleaner. The cleaning operation must be carried out after each firing of approximately 30 kg of pellets.

    14.1.2. Cleaning the fume passage First 6kW To perform this cleaning, you must remove the worktop (pull the worktop upwards, spring fit), the side covers and the lower front grille inside the door. To remove these parts, it is necessary to remove some screws. Once the covers have been removed, remove the side and front covers of the combustion chamber, then, using a vacuum cleaner, clean the ash accumulated inside the combustion chamber, if a small brush is necessary to remove the most ingrained ash.

Cleaning the fume circuit First 6 kW To perform this cleaning, it is necessary to remove the front vermiculite (refractory material) from the inside of the combustion chamber, remove it from the fittings that are in the smoke deflector, if necessary, remove the side vermiculites. Then remove the smoke deflector, remove its fittings in the holes in the combustion chamber.

  • Page 54 15. Installing operating with remote control “programmable thermostat” (optional) The pellet stoves are produced as standard with the display control. Alternatively, the pellet stove can be used with a generic external control (chrono thermostat) or another type of control as long as it is voltage-free contact. To connect the equipment to pellets remotely through a chrono thermostat or thermostat must use the interface (Figure 29-b), it is a plate placed on the back of the stove (Figure 28).
