Reversing
a Field
This
function
inverts
the dot matrix
to
produce
the
effect of
white
on
black.
DO NOT
use
this
mode
of printing
for
more
than
five
consecutive
lines
since
extended
printing
in
this
mode
will
-
damage
the
print
head.

The
Carriage Return
If
you
attempt
to
print
more
than 136/250 (normal/condense) characters
on a
line,
a
Carriage Return
with Line
Feed
will
be
forced
and
the overflow characters
will
be
printed
on
the next
line.
If
a
line
contains
more
than 136/250 (normal/condense)
printable
characters with not carriage
return,
the
excess
over 136/250 (normal/condense) characters
will
be
printed
on
the next
line.
If
you want
to
overprinting,
you must
set
CHR$
(141),
carriage return with
no
line
feed.

Quotation
Marks
If
an
odd number
of
quotation
marks have been
transmitted, control
characters are
made
visible.
This
can be
particularly
useful
when
you
are
making a
listing
of
a
BASIC
program
containing cursor
control
characters
in
quotation marks.
If
you want
to
print
quotation marks,
you
must
send
CHR$
(34).
