To use the supplied shoulder strap for carrying the camcorder, use the following
procedure to fasten it to the fitting points.

1 Fita clip of the
strap to the grip of
this unit.
Press and
pull up.
Shoulder strap fitting
2 Fit the other clip of
the strap to the
video camera.
How to remove
While pressing here,
move the clip downwards,
then detach it from the fitting.
Chapter 3 Setting Up the Unit
1 Remove the
shoulder strap
fitting.
(Retain the removed
fitting for later use.)
Attach
the grip.
Tighten the screws
firmly to prevent
the unit from
rattling or falling.
The recommended
torque for
tightening the
screws is 1.4 Nm
(14 kg-cm).
