Basic In Dash DDS Troubleshooting

Issue = No Power

• Check for 12VDC past fuse holder.
• If no power bypass fuse and see if unit powers. MNP can
provide fuses and holder if necessary.

Issue = No Depth Readings

• Set Deep Water, Shallow Water and Keel Offset to "0.0".
This returns all to factory settings.
• Check connection between transducer and display.
• Be sure there is at least 3 feet of distance between the
transducer face and the bottom. This should be an open
body of water.
• Be sure there is nothing obstructing the transducer face
and the bottom.

Issue = Poor Performance when Underway

• The transducer face should be even with the bottom of the
pontoon. The front or point of the transducer should be
angled slightly higher than the back or training edge of the
transducer.
• Ideally the transducer should be mounted on the starboard
side in the direction of the propeller screw as opposed to
the opposite side of the screw.
