The heating boiler was designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable norms and standards, guaranteeing safe and reliable operation.
The boiler is designed to supply heat to central heating systems (radiator and underfloor heating) and to obtain domestic hot water. The SEM DUOPELL boiler with manual fuel charging should operate at full rated power in a system with a buffer storing excess heat. The drawing shows an example diagram of a boiler with a buffer. Operating the boiler at nominal power allows for better fuel utilization and better exhaust gas quality for the atmosphere .

METAL-FACH Heating Technology Requirements for the expansion vessel (Installer) Each open system heating installation should be equipped with an expansion vessel , the task of which is to absorb the increase in the volume of water filling the installation and vent it. This vessel should be installed at the highest point of the installation, if possible in a vertical line above the boiler(s).
Additionally, check whether the ash has been removed from the ash pan. The SEM DUOPELL boiler is a bottom combustion boiler, i.e. the exhaust gas outlet from the charging chamber is located in the lower part, right next to the grate. Smoke exhaust flap located in the upper part of the boiler; it is only used to remove smoke from the chamber when refuelling while the boiler is operating and can never be used as a convection channel during combustion.
METAL-FACH Heating Technology ATTENTION! Smoke and tar on the walls of the charging chamber in this type of boiler (with bottom combustion) should be treated as a normal phenomenon. This does not affect the boiler's efficiency or durability, but is only an aesthetic phenomenon.
METAL-FACH Heating Technology Cleaning and maintenance (User) ATTENTION! The boiler can only be cleaned with the device disconnected from the electrical network. To save fuel, keep the combustion chamber and boiler convection channels clean. In the combustion chamber, clean the walls and shelves through the cleaning and inspection doors. The boiler exchanger and ash pan are also regularly cleaned.
