    Ethernet to USB dongle into the USB3-Type A port that is next to the two built-in Ethernet ports. QVidium provides software called CodecManager that you can download from the Support page http://www.qvidium.com to configure and determine the IP address of the Ethernet port of your QVENC4K.

    Upon power-on, you should see a stream of characters as the system is booting, ending with the login prompt. Login as user “qvidium” with the barcode serial number as the password,then hit Enter. From this prompt, type resetnetwork followed by hitting the Enter key (<CR>, carriage return) to reset the network settings to use DHCP.

Most protocols will require a destination IP address or DNS name for the receiver, but several of the protocols, such as QVidium ARQ, RIST, and SRT, allow you to leave the destination blank and have the receiver initiate the stream.
