Manual Communication System 2 Speech Amplifier SV5-BT General The speech amplifier SV5-BT is connected to the starting line with banana plugs. On the SV5- BT you can connect a headset with USB-Type C or pair a Bluetooth headset. ATTENTION: Not all USB-Type C headsets work with the SV4-BT. Headsets that have in- stalled a chip in the plug usually do not work. -

Manual Communication System 3 Speech Amplifier SV4-S The speech-amplifier and the headset enable a commu- nication between starter and timing staff. The speech-am- plifier possess a built-in 9V-battery. If this battery is empty, you can hear a ”knocking” in the earphones. You can find the battery at the bottom side of the speech-amplifier. - Page 9 Manual Communication System Power supply: The speech-amplifier includes a 9V alkaline battery. Manual Communication System 4 Headsets The headsets HS4-2 and HS4-1 are compatible for use with ALGE-TIMING timing devices and ALGE-TIMING accessory which has a built-in speech amplifier as well as with the speech amplifier SV4-S and SV4/SM. These headsets cannot be used with the speech amplifier SV5-BT. -
