Using the Remote Navigation (NAV) Buttons RCU Navigation Buttons The terms NAVIGATE (NAV) or SELECT are used when referring to activities controlled by these four arrows and the OK button. The OK button is the same as SELECT / SAVE / AGREE. In some instances it is a shortcut button - for example to quickly see the available channels.

Connecting the TV Connecting with RCA Cables Many older devices require an analog video connection (sometimes ‘CVBS’ , ‘Composite’ or ‘AV’). If this is the case, follow the instructions below: Use a Yellow, Red and White “RCA” cable, and match the colours into the AV input on the side of the TV.

Connecting the TV Connect TV to Power Supply Unit Cigarette Charger Plug the12V/24V Power Supply jack connector into the “DC In” port on the underside of the TV. Then plug the Cigarette Plug into a cigarette port in your Car or Van. Once all the required devices is connected to your TV turn on the power.
Getting Started First Time Installation The first time you turn on your Smart TV you will need to complete the FIRST TIME INSTALLATION wizard. Step 1: Welcome First you will see “Let’s start setting up your Smart TV”, press the OK button on your RCU to continue.

Getting Started Step 3: Network If you have connected to the Internet via Ethernet directly, the installation wizard will automatically connect to the Internet, otherwise if you would like to connect via Wi-Fi see “Network & Internet” on page 28. Step 4: Country Next, use the RCU navigation buttons to select the country the TV is in, for example Australia.
General Functions Remote Control Functions Power The Power / Standby button switches TV ON and OFF. It functions the same as the Standby button on the back panel of the TV. Keep in mind this function only controls the TV. It will not affect your Set Top Box, DVD player or other devices. Smart TV The Home button takes you to the Smart TV home page.
TV Settings TV Settings Press the Menu on your RCU to display the settings menu. Use the up and down navigation buttons to select the category of settings you would like to choose. Use the right navigation button to enter the setting category. For Example to edit Time settings use the up and down navigation buttons highlight Time, then press the right navigation button to enter it.
TV Settings Sound Sound Mode When Sound Mode is highlighted, use the left and right navigation buttons to switch between sound modes to Standard, Sport, Music, Movie and User (custom option). Equaliser If User is selected in Sound Mode, the Equaliser is available to customise sound settings. Use the up and down navigation buttons to select the Equaliser option, and then press the OK button.
TV Settings Program Auto Search Please note: When traveling and wanting to watch DTV service, you will need to retune your TV each time your location changes so that your TV can find the TV channels in the new location. Please note: Ensure your TV antenna is correctly deployed and pointed for optimal direction towards the broadcast antenna and that your mast head amplifier (if fitted) is turned on.
TV Settings Function OSD Time To control the time the display stays visible on the screen, highlight OSD Time and use the left and right navigation buttons to select from 5 to 30 seconds, then press OK. Press the up and down keys to select the option, and then press the OK key to open the CEC function.
TV Settings Time Date, Current time This is not adjustable when there is a signal and when the automatic calibration is on. Otherwise you can set the date and time as you require. Sleep timer The Sleep Timer allows you to determine when your TV will automatically turn off. Use the left and right navigation buttons to choose between Off, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, and 240 minutes.
Media Player Your TV comes with an inbuilt media play that allows you to play music, and view photos from a USB drive. Picture Use the navigation buttons to select the Picture icon, then press OK to confirm. Select the folder you want to view, and press OK to open the folder.
Please note: Smart TV features require Internet access. Using these features may increase Internet data costs from your service provider. Your UEC Smart TV is integrated with Internet and interactive Web 2.0 features, which allows you to stream music and videos, browse the Internet, and view photos.
Smart TV Network & Internet You can choose to connect to the Internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. If you would like to connect the TV with an Ethernet cable, please read “Optional: Ethernet Connection” on page 16. Otherwise to connect to Wi-Fi please follow the instructions below.
