1. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
HOW TO USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize
yourself with the required tools, materials, and installation
sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your
particular installation. This will help you avoid costly
mistakes. In addition to proper installation, read all
operating and safety instructions.
INSTALLER HAZARD NOTIFICATION
WARNING: Risk of injury or product damage.
Handle vitreous china products very carefully.
Vitreous china can break and chip if you overtighten
bolts and nuts.
NOTE: Follow all local plumbing codes.
PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS

Since all toilets do not have the same supply
rough-in, you may have to change the location of
the supply stop to install this toilet.
S
Closet flange must be 12" on-center from wall.
S
Seat post holes are on 5-1/2" centers.
S
This toilet is designed to flush using 3.5 gallons
when the tank refill time is adjusted to between 50
and 55 seconds. Tank refill time is measured from
the moment the flapper ball reseats to the time
water stops flowing through the refill tube. Slightly
longer refill time may be necessary to compensate
for permanent or temporary low water pressure. To
adjust the refill time, see "To Adjust Refill Time",
on Page 5.
