3.2 Front and rear brakes
3.2.1 Brake and rear pedal
Check that there is no free play in the brake levers and brake pedal. If the free play is incorrect.adjust it.
Check operation of the brake levers and brake pedal.They should move smoothly and there should be
a
firm feeling when the brakes are applied.If not.have the ATV checked by the sales dealer.
Check for correct brake pedal height.If the pedal height is incorrect.have a sales dealer adjust it.
3.2.2 Brake operation
Test the brakes at slow speed after starting out to make sure they are working properly.If the brakes do
not provide proper braking performance,check the brake linings for wear.
3.2.3 Brake fluid leakage
Check to see if any brake fluid is leaking out of the pipe joints or brake fluid reservoirs.Apply the brakes
firmly for one minute.If there is any leakaeg,have a sales dealer check the brake system.
3.3 Drive chain
Check the condition of the drive chain and check the drive chain slack.Lubricate and adjust the drive chain
as necessary.
