PHYSICAL CHECKOUT
Before applying power to the unit, the following inspection
should be performed:
Front latch. Check that the front latch opens and
closes. Note that when the door is opened, the
head arm raises.
2. Ensure that the front panel is secure.

3. Manually rotate the drive hub. The hub should
rotate freely.
4. Check that the PC boards are secure. Check that
the connectors are firmly seated. Also, check the
location of the Servo Board for type ( Linear or
Non-linear).
