    EN14225-2. DESIGNATED USE This Ultima Twist Dry Glove System is approved for Waterproof drysuits with FlexLock™ system, SI TECH QCS Oval System or Latex wrist seals. In combination with insulating dry glove, the Ultima system will provide your hands with thermal protection in and under water. Ask Waterproof for suitable dry gloves: info@waterproof.eu.
  • Page 7 1. Put the glove on and make a mark that aligns with the center of the palm. 2. Align the protruding part of the Ultima glove ring to the mark on the glove. See mounting procedure on the next pages.
  • Page 8 MOUNTING A LATEX OR NITRILE DRY GLOVE TO THE GLOVE RING 1. Put the glove ring in the glove and turn it as shown in the image. Adjust the overlap to achieve the correct length of the glove. Make sure to align the glove mark to the center of protruding part on the glove ring.

  • Page 11 Add lubricant on this surface 2. Push the silicone seal into the arm and add some lubricant on the seal to help the Ultima suit ring slide in easier. 3. Push the suit ring firmly into the arm until it meets the FlexLock ring.
  • Page 12 DISMOUNT THE SUIT RING IMPORTANT! Always use the WP designated tool (included in the box), when dismounting the suit ring, otherwise damage of the Ultima suit ring, suit PU-ring or seal will occur. NEVER use metal tools like screw drivers! 1.

  • Page 14 2. Place the silicone seal inside the suit ring and fold the lower end of the seal over the suit ring. (It might be a good idea to use a new Silicone seal) 3. The ridge on the seal should be placed in the second groove as standard.
  • Page 15 5. Twist the seal and pull it back with your hand during the mounting procedure to avoid wrinkles. 6. Push it in straight little by little. Make sure the silicone seal doesn’t wrinkle and it stays in the correct groove.

  • Page 21 Latex seal Suit 1. Start by removing the silicone groove ring from the middle groove. 2. Place the o-ring inside the latex wristseal of the suit and fold the edge inwards. 3. Open the seal and o-ring by pulling with both hands firmly and mount it in the large groove.

  • Page 24 MOUNTING ULTIMA SOFT IN SI TECH ”SLÄGGÖ” ARM RINGS 1. Make sure the Spanner Ring (yellow) is mounted correctly with the ridge in the bottom. The Spanner Ring has to be mounted at all times when using the Ultima Soft DGS.
  • Page 25 5. Put the suit ring in the suit arm carefully. 6. Push the ring inside the suit approximately 1cm until is stays there. Make sure the seal stays in place. This can be tricky but is easy after some practice. 7.
  • Page 26 DISMOUNTING OF ULTIMA SOFT 1. Use the tool to dismount the ring from the suit. Put in the pointed end with the hook away from the suit, and slowly press apart. There might be neccessary to press apart twice with small distance between.

    1. Push the protruding part of the glove ring into the corresponding opening on the other ring. 2. Press the arms tightly against the body and at the same time twist until the ring comes loose. Repeat the same procedure on the other hand.

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄßE VERWENDUNG Das ULTIMA Dry Glove System ist für WATERPROOF Trockentauchanzügen mit FlexLock™-System, Latex sowie "SI TECH QCS Oval" Manschettensystemen geprüft. In Verbindung mit isolierenden Trockenhands- chuhen und einem Trockentauchanzug dient es der thermischen Isolierung der Hände im und unter Waßer.
  • Page 34 Handschuhe nach dem Tauchgang. 1. Ziehen Sie den Handschuh an und machen Sie eine Markierung, die mit der Mitte der Handfläche übereinstimmt. 2. Richten Sie den vorstehenden Teil des Ultima-Handschuhrings an der Markierung auf dem Handschuh aus. Siehe Montageverfahren auf den nächsten Seiten.
  • Page 35 BEFESTIGUNG EINES LATEX- ODER NITRILHANDSCHUHS AM HANDSCHUHRING 1. Setzen Sie den Handschuhring in den Handschuh ein und drehen Sie ihn wie auf dem Bild gezeigt. Das Handschuhmaterial wird über den Ring gezogen. Durch die Länge der Materialüberlappung ist die Handlänge einstellbar. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Markierung am Handschuh auf die Mitte des hervorstehenden Teils am Handschuhring ausgerichtet ist.

  • Page 40 EINBAU VON ULTIMA IN WATERPROOF ISS UND SI TECH QCS OVAL SYSTEMEN Das Ultima Twist Dry Glove-System ist so konzipiert, daß es direkt in das Waterproof ISS-System oder das SI TECH QCS Oval-System eingesetzt werden kann. Das bedeutet, daß Sie nur den festen ovalen Kunststoffring vom Anzug entfernen und durch den Ultima-Anzugring ersetzen müßen.
  • Page 41 2. Die Silikonmanschette wird jetzt gemäß Abbildung in den Anzugring geschoben und umgeschlagen. (Ggf. Ist eine neue Silikonmanschette erforderlich.) 3. Normalerweise wird die Silikonmanschette in die zweite Nut gesetzt. (Bei Bedarf kann auch die dritte Nut verwendet werden, um eine beßere Abdichtung zu erreichen.) Hier umlaufend fetten.

  • Page 48 Latex- Armmanschette Anzugarm 1. Zunächst den Silikon–Nutring aus der mittleren Nut entnehmen. 2. O-Ring gemäß Abbildung in die Latex-Arm- manschette einschlagen. 3. Latexmanschette und O-Ring mit beiden Händen fest aufziehen und in die große Nut des Anzugringes setzen. Bitten Sie jemanden, den Handschuhring während der Montage zu halten.
