Display Settings

1. You cannot move from the Settings tab of Display Properties to the
multi-monitor when you are using the display of the computer and an
external CRT display at the same time.

Open Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes
Click Display
Select Settings tab
Display Properties (Mobile Intel
and ATI Radeon
Press Ctrl + Alt + F12 keys to display Graphics Controller
Properties (See the next figure).
Click Display Devices tab (See the next figure), then select
Extended Desktop.
Check that the Primary Device option is set to Notebook (the
internal display) and the Secondary Device is set to Monitor (the
external CRT).
