- Page 2 ARTIFICIAL TREE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Though the light strings are rated for indoor or outdoor use, the complete tree is for indoor use only. Style # 10408‐75‐600C 7.5‐foot Pre‐Lit Snow Valley Packaging Contents: Each package should include the following items: Top tree section (Fig 1, Section C) Middle tree section (Fig 1, Section B) Bottom tree section (Fig 1, Section A) Folding metal tree stand (Fig 2) Package of spare light bulbs and plug fuses Unpack: Carefully unpack all tree components from the carton and keep the carton for future storage. (Some sections of the tree may be heavy). Be sure to untangle any wires that may be caught with other items. (Please DO NOT forcibly remove any contents). Remove any outer wrapping from tree branches. Basic Assembly Steps: (CAUTION): Two people may be needed to balance and assemble upper section Fig 1 of tree. Please use a ladder, if needed, and follow all ladder safety instructions. Remove the tree stand from the plastic bag and separate the legs of the stand to form an “X”. Align the holes for the insertion of the eyebolts. Insert the eyebolts and begin threading in a clockwise direction for a couple of rotations only; leave enough room for the tree’s pole from section “A” to be inserted in the assembled tree stand. Place the tree stand in its desired location on a level surface. Once the tree is fully assembled, it may be too difficult to move and relocate. - Page 3 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE This tree employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short‐circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present, and the product should be discarded. ’ : Y LIGHTS AREN T WORKING Check whether the cord is properly plugged into the outlet. Be sure there is power to the outlet. Check whether all plugs within the tree are securely connected and positioned correctly. Check whether all bulbs are tightly fitted inside the lamp holders and that none are broken or damaged. If a bulb is burnt out or damaged, carefully replace the faulty bulb by following the diagram below or using the instructions included with your tree. There are spare bulbs included for easy replacement. If none of the lights are working check the fuse in the light plug on the light string. This product employs overload protection (fuse). If an entire light set or half of the light set fails to light up, please check the following: Check for broken or missing bulbs. Check for loose bulbs. Start at the first bulb that does not light and remove it from the socket. Check the two wires on the bottom of the bulb; make sure they line up with the two brass connections in the socket as you push the bulb snugly back into the socket. Continue down the line replacing any bulbs that look burnt out, cracked or do not line up. ’ : Y TREE DOESN T LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE If the tree has been assembled and it doesn’t look as full as the picture, you can increase the overall fullness of your tree by shaping each branch very carefully. The branches have been condensed by placing into the box and can be easily reshaped to their original fullness by bending and separating each of the branches in a more realistic manner.
