Getting to know your machine

B On/Off Button
Press to start, press to switch off.
C Economy Wash Button
This allows you to select a high or low
water temperature. The water will
normally heat up to 65 °C which is the
temperature required for energetic wash
programmes (see Wash Programmes
page 22). If one of the gentle programmes
is required, press the button and the
water will heat up to 55 °C only.
Press the button to release the switch and
return to normal (65 °C).
D Economy Drying Button
Press this button to reduce the drying
temperature from 65 °C to 50 °C. Please
note that the crockery will take longer to
dry than normal.
E Door Handle
F Mains-on Indicator
This light will come on when the On/Off
button is pressed and the machine starts
to operate. It will not go out until the
switch is pressed to turn the machine off,
once the dishwashing cycle has been
completed.
G Wash Cycle Phase Indicator
(thick black line adjacent to letter G on
dial).
The position of this line will correspond
to a symbol on the fascia indicating the
function being performed when the
selected programme letter moves
clockwise from the 12 o'clock position.
Depending upon programme selected the
thick black line will advance until it
reaches either one of the two stop
positions marked on the fascia or the red
line at the 12 o'clock position on the
fascia.
e.g. If programme B is selected then the
wash cycle phase indicator will be aligned
with the symbol for main wash

will finish at the red line at the 12
o'clock position.

MM Hot air drying
H Programme Selector Dial
This is marked with the letters A,B,C,D
and should be used in conjunction with
the details given in the wash programme
chart (page 22) and programme guide (A)
on fascia of appliance.
To set the appliance to the chosen
programme, turn the dial clockwise until
the dot above the programme letter is
exactly aligned with the red line on the
fascia the 12 o'clock position.
I Salt Refill Indicator
The indicator shows when the salt
container needs refilling (see page 14).
