Intended Use The 300DLX Series Stethoscope is intended to facilitate the ability to hear internal sounds. This unit is ideal for general examination and blood pressure measurement. Components Included: stethoscope with diaphragm-only chestpiece, tubing, binaurals, and one set of eartips.
- Page 3 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Adjusting the Binaural Tension s NOTICE: The binaurals only need to be adjusted slightly — DO NOT squeeze or pull excessively. To tighten the binaurals, hold binaurals at the base, at the bottom of the "Y", as shown at right. Squeeze together gently until the eartips cross and the desired tension is achieved. Increase binaural tension (tighten) To loosen the binaurals, grasp binaurals with both hands above the "Y", as shown at right.
