    Setting up your computer and getting started The Toshiba Instruction Manual for Safety and Comfort, included with your computer, contains helpful information for setting up your work environment and tips for working comfortably throughout the day. Please handle your computer carefully to avoid scratching or damaging the surface.

    Creating recovery media To purchase an optional external writable optical disk drive or a USB Flash drive, visit the Toshiba Web site at accessories.toshiba.com. It is strongly recommended that you create recovery USB/media. This will enable you to return your system to its out-of-box state, if necessary.
