4. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE: Unplug gun from power supply and allow to cool before performing any maintenance.
4.1.
Keep the air intake and outlet openings clean and free from dirt and peelings.
4.2.
Use only a slightly dampened cloth and mild household cleaning agent to wipe the gun clean.
DO NOT use turpentine, paint thinner, gasoline or similar substances to clean the gun.
4.3.
Check the gun, power lead and nozzles for damage before storage.
4.4.
Store the gun in a safe, dry, childproof area.
5. OTHER TASKS
This Hot Air Gun may also be used for the following tasks:
Loosening rusted or over-tightened nuts and metal screws
Removing self-adhesive stickers and trim
Highlighting natural woodgrain before staining or varnishing
Melting tar, bitumen or wax / Roofing repairs
Thawing padlocks, etc.
Shrinking shrink-wrap sheeting
Shrinking polyvinyl wire joints
Soldering
Plumbing tasks
Moulding PVC and Plexiglass into shape
Important: Safety is a key principle when using this hot air gun. When approaching a new task, consider any dangers that may arise,
taking any necessary precautions and practice first if possible.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.
