When Closing (tilt close)
NOTICE
Before closing the floor, check that there is no damage or problem in the wiring, piping, or seats inside the floor or revolving frame.
If any damage or problem is found, please ask your Komatsu distributor to carry out repairs.
1. Remove lock pin (10) and insert it in storage hole (13).
REMARK
If lock pin (10) will not come out, hold handrail (6), and remove the
lock pin while lifting.
2. Use your left hand to pull floor lock release lever (5) in the
direction of the arrow (to the rear) while holding handlail (6) with
your right hand and pulling it down in the direction of the arrow
(approx 45°).
NOTICE
Lower slowly and check that there is no damage or catching of the
wiring or piping.
When opening or closing the floor, do not let any part of your body enter
the area under the floor.
3. Tighten floor tilt lock bolts (3) (M14 x 2).
Tightening torque: 156.8 to 196 Nm (16 to 20 kgm , 115.7 to
144.7 lbft)
REMARK
If any bolt (3) is damaged, replace it with a genuine Komatsu part
of the same size.
4. Close engine rear cover (2).
This completes the operation for closing the floor.
