Intended use TransPol-5 is a portable grinding and polishing device for on-site materialographic preparation. TransPol-5 is typically used for testing surfaces of workpieces that are not suitable for transport or which are part of assembled constructions. TransPol-5 equipment is intended for use in materialographic applications where the prepared surface can be processed for further materialographic examination.
The operator must read the safety precautions and Instruction Manual, as well as relevant sections of the manuals for any connected equipment and accessories. Struers equipment must only be used in connection with and as described in the Instruction Manual supplied with the equipment.
