The detection results will be affected by the material, size, and condition of the object or surface.
  • Page 8 IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS - In some cases, the tool may not be able to accurately indicate the presence of live wires in the wall if the internal equipment fails or is improperly operated. Therefore, it should not be relied solely on to identify the presence of dangerous live wires.

    OPERATION Install / Replace the Batteries The battery is located in the battery bin. When the detector is not going to be used for a long period of time, the batteries must be removed from it. Long periods of time can cause the battery to corrode and discharge which can damage the device.
  • Page 10 Basing on the thickness of the wall that you wish to detect within, press the mode switch to enter the appropriate depth of foreign body detection mode. At this time, the current detection mode will appear on the screen, and the instrument will automatically calibrate the screen signal area to clear.
  • Page 11 Detection of Metal Objects (steel bars, wires, copper tubes) The maximum detection depth of metal is 38mm. Short press the metal detection button to enter metal detection mode. Wait until the instruments signal area is cleared and automatic calibration is completed before operation. To operate the detector in this mode, hold it flat on your surface and slowly move it to the left or right.

    Maintenance, Service, and Cleaning Use a dry soft cloth to remove dirt from the stud finder. Do not use detergents or solvents. Do not put any labels or nameplates on the front and rear areas of the detector. Do not paste metal nameplates to the stud finder. Use the accompanying protective case to store and carry the detector.
