THIEL CS1.6 Packing/Unpacking Instructions
UNPACKING
• Stand the carton upright.
• Cut the tape around the large side of the carton. (Marked "Open This Side")
• Fold out the carton flaps and lean the top of the speaker out of the carton.
• Remove the top plywood end pack from speaker.
• Lift the speaker out of the carton.
• Remove the protective plastic bag.
We recommend saving the packing carton and materials for future use during a move or for repair purposes.
REPACKING
WARNING! Be sure the cabinet bottom is located at the bottom of the carton. Improperly packed
speakers may void the warranty.
• Cover the speaker with the protective plastic bag.
• Lay the opened carton on its side horizontally with the open side toward you.
• Lay the speaker on its back on top of the carton's bottom flap.
• Attach the two plywood end packs as shown in the drawing below. The top pack has the curved
shaped piece of white foam that fits across the curved portion of the upper front part of the speaker.
The bottom pack should be oriented so that the white foam piece is at the rear of the speaker.
• Slide the speaker with the attached end packs into the carton. You can push the speaker in part
way, then flip the carton so that the open side is facing up to help slide the speaker into the carton.
