The varmo TZ pro is an electronic radiator thermostat, intended for use with water based room radiators. The varmo TZ pro valve is supplied with adapters for RA valves and valves with M30 x 1.5 (K) connections, two alkaline AA batteries and a 2 mm Allen key.
Remove the battery cover and insert two AA batteries. Make sure the batteries are correctly oriented.
Rechargeable batteries must not be used.
If the battery goes flat, the system switches automatically to safety mode where the valve is slightly opened providing a small continuous water flow.
M must be flashing on the display prior to installing.

Use to navigate the display and the menus and to set the temperature, and use to select and confirm.
The temperature is usually controlled via the DONEXON App, but may be changed at any time using the varmo TZ pro buttons. If this is done, the varmo TZ pro sends a message to the Z-Wave controller which then syncronises other varmo TZ pro in the same room.
Press to change the temperature.
The DONEXON App can instruct the varmo TZ pro to enter Fully Closed (FC) or Fully Open (FO) modes. When in either of these modes, the buttons can not be used to leave the mode nor change the temperature.
If the varmo TZ pro has been removed from the radiator and needs to be reinstalled (after being used), it is necessary to activate installation mode to prevent damage to the varmo TZ pro.
To enter installation mode:
If the varmo TZ pro is moved to another room, make sure to make the necessary changes in the DONEXON App.
