CLEANING

Cleaning the Detergent Box

While gently pressing the fabric softener cap, pull it
forward to remove the detergent box (Detergent box
may look different depending on the washer model).
• Using a toothbrush, thoroughly clean the detergent
box inside and outside.
WARNING
• Do not directly spray water to it. It can cause fire or
electrical shock.
NOTE
• Clean the detergent box about once a week. It will be
maintained clean at all times.

Cleaning the Washing Bucket

Inject chloride based whitening liquid (54 ml) into

the liquid detergent injection hole or inject chloride
based whitening powder (54 g) into the main washing
detergent injection hole (For a Commencer washer,
inject oxygen based whitening agent (10 ml)).
Use the 통살균 cycle to clean the washing bucket.

CAUTION
• Do not let your child or pet go into the washer. It can
cause injuries or suffocation.
• If you use acidic cleaner, it can cause discoloration, or
corrosions, Do not use it.
• When cleaning the washing bucket, do not inject laundry
into it. It can cause severe damages to laundry.
NOTE
• After operating the washer about thirty times,
the Bucket Sterilization function will operate to
automatically notify when the bucket should be cleaned
(Some models do not support this auto notice function).
• If you do not completely remove moisture from the
inside of the washing bucket, it can generate bad
odors and stains (fungus). Leave the door open until
there is not moisture inside the washer.
• If you use the product for too long in the following
environment,s then germs or fungus in the air can
stick to water stains, causing pollutions in the washing
bucket. If the level of such pollution is too high, then
cleaning can become difficult. So, make sure to clean
it at least once a week.
– If the washer is installed in a humid and shady
areas
– If product is not used or managed for a long time
– If detergent or fabric softener is used excessively
• Stainless steel washing bucket is resistant against
rusts except for the following cases. When rusts
are generated, use a sponge or soft cloth soaked
in cleaning liquid (neutral agent) and wipe it off
thoroughly (Do not use metallic scrubbers).
– If steel products (pins, hair pins) that can easily
generate rusts are rest too long in the washing
bucket.
– If you use water with excessive iron for too long
– If you use whitener for washing and left it too long
in the washing bucket
